AiPad proudly joined the Danang Venture and Angel Summit 2026 (DAVAS 2026), marking an important milestone in its journey to build a stronger startup infrastructure platform for Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem. Held in Da Nang, DAVAS 2026 is an international investment forum designed to connect startups with investors, angel investors, and venture capital funds, while positioning Da Nang as an emerging hub for innovation and investment in Vietnam. The summit brings together selected domestic and international startups, venture capital funds, angel investors, strategic partners, and innovation ecosystem leaders for investment pitching, 1:1 matchmaking, startup exhibitions, and technology connection activities.

This year’s event was directed by the Da Nang City People’s Committee and led by the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang, reinforcing the city’s strong commitment to startup development, innovation, and investment attraction. DAVAS 2026 also welcomed a wide network of investment funds and strategic partners, including Quest Ventures, Do Ventures, ThinkZone Ventures, MEXC Ventures, Antler, GenAI Fund, Wavemaker Partners, Animoca Brands, Stellar Foundation, TRON DAO Ventures, and many others. For AiPad, participating in DAVAS 2026 was not only an opportunity to pitch in front of investors, but also a meaningful step in validating its mission: Building the operating infrastructure that helps innovation programs, hackathons, accelerators, and early-stage startup teams move beyond one-off events and become measurable, sustainable startup pipelines.

From Selection to Pitching: A Two-Month Preparation Journey

After successfully passing the selection round, iPad embarked on an intensive preparation journey before the final pitching day. Over more than two months, the team participated in three intensive training sessions with experts, two weeks of coaching with dedicated mentors, and multiple rounds of mock pitching to refine its business model, market positioning, growth strategy, and investment narrative. This process allowed AiPad to sharpen not only its pitch deck, but also its strategic clarity. Each training and mentoring session challenged the team to answer essential questions: What problem is AiPad solving for the startup ecosystem? Who are the real paying customers? And most importantly, how can AiPad help transform fragmented innovation activities into long-term, measurable outcomes? On the morning of May 27, 2026, AiPad joined the selected startup cohort pitching directly at DAVAS 2026 in Da Nang. Being listed among the startups pitching for investment at DAVAS 2026 further affirmed AiPad’s relevance within Vietnam’s fast-growing innovation landscape.

Beyond Pitching: Connecting with Partners and Ecosystem Resources

In addition to the main pitching session on May 27, AiPad also participated in webinar activities within the DAVAS 2026 framework, connected with potential business partners, and explored ecosystem resources available at the summit.

These activities were highly aligned with AiPad’s development direction. For a startup like AiPad, whose model depends on collaboration across multiple ecosystem stakeholders, this environment created valuable opportunities to test market assumptions, receive investor feedback, and identify potential partnership pathways. As AiPad looks toward its next stage of development, investor support will play an important role in accelerating product development, expanding pilot programs, and building a stronger network of partners across Vietnam and the region.

Introducing AiPad: A New Infrastructure Layer for Innovation Programs

Incubated and supported by A-Star Group and A-Star X, AiPad is being developed as an AI-native innovation program company and operating system for organizations that design, run, digitize, and measure innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture-building programs. AiPad’s core belief is simple: Innovation programs should not stop at application forms, workshops, demo days, or award ceremonies. They should be managed as continuous pipelines — from problem discovery, team formation, idea validation, business model development, prototype creation, mentor feedback, investor readiness, and post-program tracking. AiPad currently combines several core product and service layers.
  1. Builder Program – A service layer through which AiPad helps design and operate hackathons, startup competitions, accelerators, bootcamps, summer schools, venture-building sprints, pitch events, and themed innovation programs.
  2. Builder Launchpad – AiPad’s AI-powered program operating system that supports idea submission, application intake, business model development, pitch material preparation, milestone tracking, deliverable management, mentor feedback, evaluation workflows, and program reporting.
  3. Builder Community – A long-term community layer connecting student builders, startup founders, developer builders, mentors, advisors, investors, and corporate innovation partners. This community helps maintain momentum after each program ends, increasing the likelihood that promising teams continue building beyond demo day.
AiPad aims to become the infrastructure layer that helps organizers reduce operational burden, improve program quality, standardize evaluation, and generate reliable impact reports for sponsors, government stakeholders, and ecosystem leaders.

Looking Ahead

AiPad’s participation in DAVAS 2026 represents more than a single pitching opportunity. It signals the team’s readiness to enter a larger conversation about how Vietnam can build stronger, more measurable, and more globally connected startup infrastructure. Moving forward, AiPad looks forward to receiving continued support from domestic and international investors, strategic partners, universities, innovation centers, government agencies and startup ecosystem organizations. With the backing of A-Star Group and A-Star X, AiPad will continue developing its platform, strengthening its program operating model, and expanding its role as a trusted infrastructure partner for Vietnam’s next generation of builders and startups.
