RULES
Contestants have to go through 4 rounds of processes. From Ideate to official launch and invest.
Round 1
Idea Sourcing
Ideas are sourced continuously from:- University hackdays and student innovation labs
- Internal venture proposals from AstarGroup members
- Open submissions from the Web3 builder community
Focus: real customer pain points in blockchain and Web3.
Round 2
Seed Funding & MVP Formation
Approved ideas received:- Early seed capital
- Clear product scope and milestones
- Mentorship and technical guidance
- Teams are required to build a working MVP, not prototypes or concept demos.
Round 3
Quarterly Competition & Demo Day
Every quarter, teams:- Prepare a pitch deck to present context and strategy
- Demo a working MVP in front of judges, partners, and investors
- Evaluation is based primarily on:
- Product execution
- Market relevance
- Launch readiness
- Product execution
- Market relevance

Round 4
Invest, Launch & Scale
Selected teams receive:- Investment from A-Star Group
- Support to launch products to real users
- Introductions to partners and venture capital for follow-on funding
Winning teams continue as independent startups within the ecosystem.
