DeFAI Sensor Joined Stellar Hanoi Builders Meet & Connect: Building on Stellar
On the evening of June 1, the DeFAI Sensor team attended Hanoi Builders Meet & Connect: Building on Stellar, held at Showtime D12 Giang Vo, Hanoi.
The event brought together Web3 builders, founders, developers, and ecosystem partners in a casual coffee-shop-style setting, creating an open space for the community to exchange ideas, share technical insights, and explore new opportunities within the Stellar ecosystem.

DeFAI Sensor Showcased as One of Three Featured Projects
The program began with check-in and warm-up activities, followed by the main agenda, which included an introduction to the event, a Soroban sharing session, and an overview of the Stellar Ecosystem Fund. Through these sessions, participants gained a deeper understanding of how Stellar is supporting builders, the resources available to projects developing on the network, and how emerging teams can explore potential collaborations within the ecosystem. A key highlight of the event was the project showcase session, where DeFAI Sensor, represented by Mr Nguyen Mau Tra, CEO & Founder of DeFAI Sensor, was honoured to be selected as one of three outstanding projects presented at the meetup. DeFAI Sensor shared the stage with two other featured projects:- Stellar Ramp – an on/off-ramp infrastructure project
- Moderntensor – a decentralized training model platform

Connecting with Stellar APAC and Orbit Labs
During the event, the DeFAI Sensor team had the opportunity to connect with representatives from Orbit Labs and meet Ms. Tiffany, the representative of Stellar in the APAC region. This conversation opened up meaningful discussions around potential collaboration, ecosystem expansion, and the role DeFAI Sensor could play as it continues to grow within the broader Web3 landscape.
For DeFAI Sensor, direct engagement with ecosystem representatives is especially valuable. It allows the team to better understand regional priorities, validate its product direction, and explore strategic opportunities beyond local markets.
The event also reflected a broader trend: Vietnam is becoming an increasingly active hub for builders within the APAC Web3 ecosystem.
With a strong developer community, growing startup activity, and increasing participation from global blockchain ecosystems, Vietnam is attracting more attention as a market where emerging Web3 products can be built, tested, and scaled.
For projects like DeFAI Sensor, this creates a timely opportunity to connect with international networks while continuing to build from Vietnam.
